YouTubers Discord bot
Bot integration policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
The YouTubers Discord bot is a community verification tool. It uses the channel and subscriber count you authorize to place you in a server's configured creator tier.
How role verification works
Use `/verify` inside the YouTubers Discord server. The bot gives you a short-lived, one-time link. After Google confirms a channel, the bot looks up the subscriber range configured by the server and assigns the corresponding role.
Updating an existing role
After your first verification, use `/update-role` to refresh the saved channel's public subscriber count and update your creator tier. This update uses the saved channel ID and does not require another Google sign-in. Run `/verify` again only if you need to connect a different channel.
Eligibility and accuracy
Only verify a YouTube channel you are authorized to use. Subscriber counts come from YouTube and may change over time. Server administrators determine the available role ranges, and a role may be unavailable if its Discord configuration needs updating.
Administrator responsibilities
Administrators must configure valid Discord role IDs, keep the bot's role above the roles it manages, and use the confirmed `/admin rescan-all` command only when they need to refresh verified members. Administrator actions are guild-scoped and audited.
Service boundaries
YouTubers is an independent community and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by YouTube, Google, or Discord. The bot assigns Discord roles; it does not grant platform verification, monetization, or any YouTube feature.
Changes
Server staff may change role thresholds or suspend the integration when needed to protect the community. Continued use after a policy update means you accept the revised policy.
